Here you will find information and hopefully answers to all your questions about the amunition and magazines for the 502 Thunder Sabre.

The 502 Thunder Sabre is a short 50 caliber round that was purpose designed for the aplication. This round is all new and not a cut down or modified case from some other caliber.

The brass is of all new draws and bears the head stamp CMA 502 T-SBR

The brass is made by Starline for Cloud Mt so you know the quality is good.

These cases can be reloaded by the end user with most reloading equipment and a set of dies that are available at almost any sporting goods store. (50 AE dies work fine)

Now the 502 case has a heavily rebated rim, yes I know you heard that rebated rims are the work of the devil and they cause all sorts of problems. Well not so here my friend, the 502 design works very well in the little black rifle.

When used in conjuction with the custom magazine the whole package is a delight indeed.

The 502 round comes in three loadings.

300 grain copper frangible

The magazine is a steel body of high quality with a special follower and other modifications that work make the 502 cartridge feel right at home in the little black rifle.

9 round standard as furnished with each new rifle

13 round optional high capacity

4 round for hunting where capacity is regulated by law.

The 502 can be reloaded easily by the end user and all components are available.

Powder is available as are primers and bullets from many sporting goods outlets across the country. Keep in mind most of what you need to reload the 502 are standard items. Only the case is proprietary and we can provide those in bare brass in 100 or 1000 count.

Loaded ammo is also available from us in 30 round boxes or in bulk.
